Tai Chi Chih ( pronounced as "tie-chee-chu" ) is an international form of moving mediation that has been taught to elementary aged children, prison inmates, senior citizens in nursing homes, developmentally disabled adults, groups with specific ailments at hospitals, clinics and corporate offices and communities all over the world.
It is a short form of the ancient art of Tai Chi Chuan, only 19 movements and one pose. So you learn the movements within a very short time and that means you receive the benefits more quickly. The beautiful and flowing movements of Tai Chi Chih are very easy to learn and more importantly deepen ones experience of life, developing a deeper awareness of the energy that is within you and around you. Through consistent practice you will learn what it feels like to be deeply relaxed and re-energized all at the same time.
Tai Chi Chih accesses, balances and circulates the chi to improve health and well being. Many medical doctors are starting to recommend Tai Chi to their patients who suffer from: stress related disorders, migraines, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, insomnia, arthritis, IBS and other digestive disorders, asthma, anxiety, high blood pressure and blood sugar imbalances causing diabetes. Tai Chi Chih can: strengthen bones and muscles, improve balance & flexibility issues, reduce stress, restore a healthy immune system and increase levels of energy that restore vitality for life.
