Hypnosis 
Ericksonian Hypnotherapy A form of talk therapy that utilizes naturally occurring theta brain wave states also known as “trance” to communicate with the sub-levels of consciousness in order to transform old patterns at the deepest level where all habits and behaviors operate automatically.  Milton Erickson created his own style of hypnosis that uses “rapport building language” that associates awareness of the external and internal environment that naturally eases a person into trance.  No one can be "hypnotized". Hypnosis is used to facilitate the changes that YOU desire for your life, therefore a therapist can never take you where you don't want to go. 

Can a person with a very traumatic past do healing work without having to re-live the painful experiences all over again?  The answer is absolutely yes!  No one should ever have to re-live trauma just to get to a healing place, that is why hypnosis is such an important and effective process.  I can ask your unconscious mind to do the healing work completely at the unconscious level outside of your conscious awareness. 

How will I know that I have changed and done the healing work, if I am choosing to not bring up past events to conscious awareness?  When we begin the process of hypnosis we ask the unconscious mind to give you an absolute experience at the conscious level so that your convincer will be conscious  and apparent proof that you have changed!
