First Peace Circle  Movement

Directed and guided by the founders of the World Foundation for the Discipline of Peace, WindEagle and RainbowHawk, have collected the teachings of the delicate lodge along with honoring the words of Black Elk, an Oglala Sioux spiritual leader when he said,  "The First Peace, which is the most important, is that which comes within the souls of the people when they realize their relationship, their oneness, with the universe and all its powers, and when they realize that at the center of the universe dwells Wakan Tanka, the Great Spirit, and that this center is everywhere, and it is within each of us. This is the real peace, and others are but reflections of this. The second peace is that whichh is made by two individuals, and the third is that which is made between two nations.  But above all you should understand that there can never be peace between nations until there is known that true peace, which as I have often said, is within the soulds of the people."

My personal dream is to guide peace circles in Minneapolis and Saint Paul area, specifically for our teenage youth in after school programs,  juvenile divisions of our judicial system, and adult family and community leaders to support a vision of peace in our world.  If you are interested in looking at curriculum and the process please call 612-345-1537
